Market development
The guidelines of the Kyoto climate protection conference in December 1997 are aimed at reducing the emission of six named greenhouse gases by at least 8% between 2008 and 2012. And this is where SONNENKRAFT steps in as the forward-looking supplier of renewable energy sources. With SONNENKRAFT it is not only possible to contribute to improving the world's atmosphere but also benefit from it too! In 1998 the market volume of installed collectors covered an area of 1.2 million square metres. That represents an annual increase of 18 per cent (from1988 to 1998) According to the EU White Paper, the total area of installed collectors will cover some 15 million square metres by 2003 and 100 million square metres by 2010.
The boom really took off in Europe last year and expert observers estimate that the next ten years will see a doubling in the annual turnover of solar power solutions. A prospect that not only benefits consumers and the environment but also installers who have already chosen solar energy as "the" big winner in the coming decade. In addition, the state is increasingly calling for the use of renewable energy and public funding contributes to consumers opting for the power of the sun.
SONNENKRAFT meets this development with technically up to date and tailor-made solutions that allow the most practical, affordable and easy use of solar energy as possible.
